Sachika Ito was born in Japan decides to make a career of opera singer in Europe, where she has formed since 2004 with soprano Maria Laura Groppi in Conservatiorio Nicolini in Piacenza, where obtained graduation in opera singing and chamber music with the highest of votes: 110 and a certificate of honor.
She won the 3rd prize in the Competition for Young Singers of Foggia and the 2nd prize at the Concorso G.Poggi in Piacenza, the prize for the best singer chosen by the public at the “Certamen Nuevas Voces Sevilla” competition in Spain.
Her voice and theatrical skills quickly throw it on stage with the main roles of registration: Oscar in Un ballo in maschera of Verdi, Norina in Donizetti's Don Pasquale, Elvira in L'Italiana in Algeri by Rossini and Micaéla Bizet's Carmen, Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi by Puccini., Serpina in La Serva Padrona by Paisiello, Violetta in Traviata, Rosina in Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Sofia in Signor Bruschino of Rossini and Gilda in Rigoletto, Musetta in La Boheme and Adina in Donizetti's Elisir d’amore and Countess of Folleville in Il Viaggio a Reims by Rossini in the ROF, Rossini Opera Fetival Pesaro, Marina in Marina of E.Arrieta, Nella in Gianni Schicchi of G.Puccini and Nedda in Pagliacci of R.Leoncavallo in Esplanade Theater of Singapore, Candrillon in Cendrillon of P. Viardot in Theatre Gran Falla of Cadix, Spain.
Recently she started to sing modern and contemporary music and she is now the favourite singer of various composers who entrust her new difficult musical passages. In 2014 has many concerts with Zahir Ensemble in the V Festival de Música Contemporánea en Sevilla which debuts GIRL in An index of metal (2003) Fausto Romitelli the Central theater of Seville in 2016 and Madeline Usher in The fall of the house of Usher of Philip Glass in 2017, both at the Teatro Central in Seville with Thierry Bruehl as stage director. In 2017 she was the protagonist of 3 "First- ever" contemporary operas: Judith, tu n’avanceras! of Bardia Charaf at the Teatro Central in Seville, Schweres Tragend of Stephan Winkler and Painted Love of Wen Liu for the occasion of the Taschenopernfestival in Salzburg. The program of Taschenopernfestival was repeated in 2018 with the prestigious Ensemble Musikfabrik directed by Mº Clement Power. Since 2015 she has also become the voice of a chamber music duo B-jeux with the guitarist Totò Calvo: the repertoires covered range from English Renaissance dances to French mélodies, to the South American folkloric repertoire.
